Net weight: 12,5 kg. All a/m raisin types are laser scanned and metal detected. All a/m values are average values. Moisture measured by FDA of California. Our products are prepared according to TS 3411. Sultanas are natural products therefore the weight values are given as “net” at the time of packing. We have the facilities to pack from 50g cello packages up to 12.5 kg inner nylon carton boxes.

SUN-DRIED FIGS

Turkey supplies nearly %60 of the world’s dried figs and is known as the highest quality region for fig growing. Turkish figs, for centuries, maintain a vibrant, sweet, mellow flavor and tasty texture that have made them famous worldwide.
The origin of this fruit is Aydın which is a certain area in Aegean Region. Because of the climate of this area, figs have thin skin and high honey content which are differentiating characteristics from other varieties. They are also an excellent source of dietary fiber, antioxidants, and other nutrients. Sun-dried figs can also be used in the food industry as fig paste and diced figs.

Turkish figs are naturally sun dried. Dried figs are exported in bulk in 5, 10, 12 kg cartons or in retail packaging of 200, 250, 400, 500, 1000 g.

Sun-dried figs types are according to shape: Lerida, Garland, Pulled, Layer, Protoben, Natural, Baglama.
